Behance Pricing
Behance is a platform that is free for creative professionals across disciplines. There are no restrictions on the number of projects a member can create, and there is also no limit on the number of images/media users can upload.
For project hires, Behance charges a platform fee to both the client and the freelancer. The platform fee varies depending on the payment amount:
- For payments under $500, the platform fee is 10% plus a $2.00 flat fee.
- For payments from $501 to $2,500, the platform fee is 5.5%.
- For payments above $2,500, the platform fee is 3%.
In addition to the platform fee, payment processors, Stripe and PayPal, charge the freelancer a transaction processing fee. The Stripe processing fee is 2.9% + $0.30. The PayPal processing fee varies by location.
If a freelancer is a Behance Pro subscriber, the platform fee for both the freelancer and the client will be waived.
As a creator, you can set your subscription price anywhere between $1 - $100 USD per month. The majority of creators price their subscription in the $5 - $10 range. Once the price is set, it can only be changed by deleting your current subscription and making a new one.
Payment Method
Behance.net processes all payments through Stripe, Inc. and PayPal, which are third-party payment processors. Stripe handles the majority of transactions, and users' earnings are deposited into and managed via their Stripe account. If there is a positive balance in the connected Stripe account, the balance can be transferred to a bank account at any time through the Stripe Dashboard.
For freelancers, payments are processed by either Stripe or PayPal. Behance does not store debit or credit card information, which is sent directly to Stripe for payment processing.
